The Private Cloud Corporation
We established the Private Cloud Corporation to provide businesses of all sizes the ability to create a Private Secure Cloud and shift some or all resources to it. We understand that not all businesses can or want to move everything to the cloud but there are some situations in which the Cloud works better. As an example we have found our Software-as-a-Service offerings works well for:
- Start-Ups
- Business with 10 or fewer employee
- Business with a mobile or distributed work force
Whereas our Infrastructure-as-a-Service & Dedicated Server offering are a good fit for:
- Larger companies who require access to additional hardware resources
- Companies who would like to maintain administrative access over Cloud data
- Companies looking to host Microsoft Dynamics or other Accounting Packages
The Private Cloud Corporation is the "sister" company of C3SD Inc., one of San Diego's Premiere IT consulting and Managed Services companies. The Data Center
The Private Cloud Corporation has partnered with AIS Data Centers for the colocation of hardware. AIS provides access to six data centers across the country, all of wh
ich are annually audited to ensure they are SSAE 16 Compliant.
PCC's main location is the LightWave Data Center in San Diego. This location was selected because it provides:
- Redundant access to the internet via 7 individual service providers
- 9.1 Megawatts of SDG&E utility power with connection to two individual SDG&E power grids
- Multiple internal Power Distribution Units (PDUs)
- Dual circuit power distribution for PCC and client hardware
- Dedicated environmental systems, providing adequate cooling, including dedicated cold & warm areas
- Building-wide Halogen Fire Suppression System
- 24/7 Tech Support
- Tier 3 Infrastructure Certification
- Secured building access via Biometric Scans and Video Surveillance
Taking full advantage of AIS' resources the Private Cloud Corporation is also able to replicate data to any of the other AIS Data Centers across the country, providing our clientele with a solid Business Continuity Plan. Please contact PCC to speak to a representative to discuss these options.
