Fault-Tolerance & Redundancy

The Private Could Corporation platform is designed to be fault-tolerant and redundant, and it gives customers the ability to architect and deploy fault tolerant applications. From multiple data-center locations to replicated role instances and storage, many aspects of the service provide for fault-tolerance and redundancy. Each layer of the Private Could Corporation platform infrastructure is designed to continue operations in the event of failure, including redundant network connections and multiple Internet service providers at each data-center. Failover is in most cases automatic (requiring no human intervention) and the network is monitored by 24x7 to detect any anomalies or potential network issues.

Data-center Redundancy

The Private Could Corporation platform is hosted at the Light Wave Data-center in San Diego, but has the ability to replicate or deploy servers to five other Data-centers in the United States. PCC Clients, for an additional fee, may provision Business Continuity services to have data from San Diego replicated to other data-centers.
